Learn More About the Impressive Subaru Legacy

Finding a sedan that you like and can feel comfortable in is important. At Fitzgerald's Countryside Subaru, we have talked with our Clearwater, FL drivers about some of their favorite Subaru vehicles. The Subaru Legacy has come to be one of their favorite vehicles because they know it has the necessary safety features, power, and technology to keep you connected.

DRIVER AIDS

There are ample driver safety features that come standard on the Subaru Legacy. The Subaru EyeSight suite packages several safety features to keep you and yours safe on the streets of Tampa. Inside the EyeSight safety package, you'll find adaptive cruise control to keep you a safe traveling distance behind the vehicle in front of you.

You'll also have forward collision mitigation and lane departure warning with a lane-keeping assist. These features make driving the Subaru Legacy a breeze with all the active safety features. You will even feel confident letting your teenage driver take it for a spin around the block in St. Petersburg.

PERFORMANCE

There are two engine options to choose from when you pick the Subaru Legacy. Both engines are paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for any of those rainy days in Largo, FL.

The first is the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. The 2.5i trims come with this engine configuration.

The other engine option is available on the 3.6R trim with a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine. This engine option increases output to 256 horsepower and 246 pound-feet of torque.

INTERIOR FEATURES

Inside the Subaru Legacy, there are plenty of features that make this vehicle versatile. The 60/40 split-folding rear seat allows you to bring more with you. You can have room for passengers on one side while room for all your gear on the other.

If you want the ultimate interior, you want to opt into the Limited trim to give you leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and a variety of interior trim accents.

TECHNOLOGY

Luckily, there are several technology features scattered throughout the cabin of the Subaru Legacy. The 6.5-inch touchscreen can display all your apps and navigation along with your rearview camera. The base trim comes with four-speakers, but if you want to upgrade to the Limited trim, you'll get 12-speakers along with an upgraded Harman Kardon sound system.

You can connect to all your favorite apps and music streaming networks through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Moving up the trim line to the Premium, you'll also get a slightly larger touchscreen coming in at eight-inches. And, the Limited trim also gives you heated rear seats and driver-seat memory settings.
