At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That's why Subaru and our retailers partner with the Arbor Day Foundation (TM) to provide and distribute 100,000 regionally appropriate trees across the country. We're proud to establish the largest corporate tree distribution ever. Through this and other Subaru Loves the Earth initiatives, Subaru and our retailers have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees.

Health
Subaru believes we should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. That's why for the past 10 years, Subaru and its retailers like us have partnered with Blood Cancer United® and our local hospital or cancer treatment center to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by our staff and customers to support patients facing cancer. Through our efforts during this decade-long partnership, we've supported nearly 500,000 cancer patients nationwide. Together, we are proud to be Blood Cancer United's largest automotive donor.
Subaru and its retailers, like us, are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning(R) by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are needed to help students thrive in the classroom.

Subaru believes all pets deserve a loving home. That's why retailers like us partner with our local animal welfare organization every October to provide direct financial assistance through a grant distributed by the ASPCA® and host pet events to help animals find loving homes. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, Subaru has donated over $70 million, supporting the rescue, adoption, and health of over 700,000 animals. We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.

Subaru and its retailers believe in giving back to our communities. That's why for every new vehicle sold or leased during the Subaru Share the Love event, Subaru and its retailers, like us, makes a donation to national charities that our owners care about and to over 2,700 local charities where Subaru owners live and work.
Now, after 17 years, Subaru and our retailers have donated nearly $320 million to charity all to give back and to make the world a better place.

The Humane Society of Pinellas County is very grateful to be selected as beneficiary of the 2024-25 Subaru "Share the Love" event. Thanks to the generosity of Fitzgerald Subaru, the Humane Society of Pinellas is able to continue to provide support to the county for animals in need of help. Thanks to Fitzgerald Subaru for being part of the solution in preventing animal homelessness!

On a December morning, Fitzgerald Subaru hosted a Holiday Pet Adoption Event with The Humane Society. The dealership lot, decorated with festive lights, was filled with puppies and kittens looking for homes. We Had Employees Dressed up for the event as well. The adoption process was simple, with families meeting the animals, filling out applications, and speaking with shelter staff, while Subaru donated part of its sales to support the rescue. By the end of the day, more than 2 puppies had found new homes, making the event a heartwarming reminder that the best holiday gifts often come with four paws.

Fitzgerald Subaru Car Dealership proudly hosted a heartwarming pet adoption event this past weekend, bringing the community together to support local animal rescue efforts. The event, held on the dealership’s lot, was organized in partnership with a regional animal shelter to help provide loving homes for pets in need. Throughout the afternoon, families and visitors were invited to meet a group of friendly and playful animals. By the end of the event, three puppies named (Paris, Rome, Berlin) and two kittens Named ( Biscuit and Muffin) were successfully adopted into caring forever homes. Attendees enjoyed spending time with the animals, learning about responsible pet ownership, and connecting with shelter representatives who shared valuable information about adoption and pet care. The success of the adoption event reflects Fitzgerald Subaru’s broader mission to foster positive community impact. Plans are already underway to host similar events in the future, continuing to connect people with pets in need of loving homes.
Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru Teams Up to Support Local Community - Karen D.
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Clearwater, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/08/2025, Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru donated 204 shoes/socks to YMCA of the Suncoast - Greater Palm Harbor. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

This past Saturday, Fitzgerald Subaru hosted a special adoption event in partnership with a local animal rescue, welcoming community members to meet and adopt rescued puppies in need of loving homes. Among the adoptable dogs were three recently rescued strays: Rotini, Carter, and Domino. Rotini, a small, curly-haired puppy found abandoned near a construction site, quickly bonded with a young girl attending the event. Her gentle nature and playful energy made her an instant favorite among visitors. Carter, a quiet and affectionate pup rescued from the roadside, connected deeply with a young couple exploring the dealership. His calm demeanor and loyalty made the decision clear — they left not only with information about a vehicle, but with a new family member. Domino, recognized by his striking black-and-white coat, charmed guests throughout the day. He ultimately formed a touching bond with an elderly gentleman, who described their meeting as “the beginning of something special.” By the end of the afternoon, all three puppies had been adopted into caring homes. The event reflected Subaru’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and animal welfare — a demonstration of their belief that love, in all its forms, drives us forward.

Marlene and Boomer (her golden retriever) Came to Subaru to find a more adventurous vehicle to fit her and Boomers needs. She had her eye on the Subaru Outback. It had plenty of space for camping trips, safety features she trusted, and—most importantly—a roomy cargo area Boomer could stretch out in. A sales Associate offered a test drive, and to Marlene’s surprise, they let Boomer come along. As they drove, Marlene felt something she hadn’t felt in a while: peace. Boomer had his nose pressed against the open window, tongue flapping joyfully in the wind. She glanced in the rearview mirror and chuckled. “Looks like he approves.” Back at the dealership we had A Subaru dog toy for Boomer and this made Marlene feel like family. This was a heart warming Moment for both The sales associate and Marlene. Something Only Subaru Can give.
Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru Operation Warm - Veronika P.
This February- Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru partnered with Operation warm to provide over 200 pairs of shoes and other items to children in need in the local community. It was an amazing experience, and it is awesome to see the smiles that a simple pair of shoes can bring. This simple gift not only helps the children but helps alleviate some stress from the parents in what could be a difficult time.

This Holiday Season Fitzgerald Subaru Partnered up with the Humane Society of Pinellas to host and adoption event while also having a Santa for people to take pictures of their pets with! These kinds of events help the animals find their forever home and also hope to socialize them around other people and animals. One of our employees actually adopted one the dogs that was at the event and now Athena is currently happy in her forever home!

FITZGERALD COUNTRYSIDE SUBARU PET ADOPTION - Veronika P.
This October-Fitzgerald Countryside Subaru partnered with the Humane Society of Pinellas to host a pet adoption in hopes of finding families for some animals at the shelter. Fitzgerald also donated a large amount of food and pet necessities in addition to a donation of over 19 thousand dollars! This helps the shelter provide everything these pets need while they wait for there forever home. Although not all of the animals were adopted at the event it gives them a good time to socialize with people and hopefully meet their future family!
